Aboubakr is an HSE consultant and Health Physicist with 19+ years of experience in the oil & gas, mining, and steel manufacturing industries. He is an internationally recognized expert in applying engineering and safety practices to reduce risk for workers. Proven track record in HSE management, risk assessment, and radiation safety compliance, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and safety culture promotion. Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale projects and contractor safety oversight, including key roles at Saudi Aramco and the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden), in addition to several PMC and EPC Organizations.

Holding several Management Certifications e.g. Risk Management Certificate ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, 14001 Environmental Management System, and 9001 Quality Management System Lead, and holder of multiple NEBOSH certifications in Process Safety, Incident Investigations, and General Health and Safety Management.

the workplace” at international and national conferences in South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates the 2014 NORM and Natural Radiation Management Conference (Radiation Protection Workshop) and 2021 Eskom Annul OHS Conference in South Africa (Speaker session).
