The Middle East HSE Summit 2026 is pleased to announce the Poster Presentation Competition, providing HSE professionals, researchers, and industry leaders the opportunity to visually showcase their impactful projects, research, and proven practices to an audience of regional and global safety experts.

To recognize, share, and celebrate outstanding initiatives that contribute to advancing health, safety, environmental practices, and overall workforce wellbeing.

Showcase your organization’s experience, innovation, or improvement initiatives that demonstrate measurable outcomes in health, safety leadership, risk prevention, or workforce engagement.

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: March 14, 2026
  • Finalist Notification: March 20, 2026
  • Stage Presentation: March 29- 30, 2026

Recognition & Awards

  • Top 1 Poster will be invited to present “On Stage” during the summit.
  • Top 3 Posters will receive certificates and awards during the closing ceremony.
  • All accepted posters will be displayed at the summit venue.

 

What to Submit

Poster abstract submissions should be in the form of:

  • Abstract / Scientific Paper / Research Document / Poster PDF
  • 1-Page Digital Poster OR Maximum 3-slide PPT
  • Optional: Short video summary (in English or Arabic)

NOTE: Kindly submit abstract keeping the below key points in mind:

  • Precise TITLE of the Abstract
  • Abstract body should not be more than 250 – 300 words.
  • Abstract MUST consist of
    • Introduction
    • Objectives
    • Methodology
    • Conclusion
  • Specific keyword, Bibliography, Surveys, Analytics that assist the abstract (if any) should be attached

 

 Poster Categories

  1. General HSE Practices – Proven workplace safety models, leadership programs, audits, compliance systems, High-Risk Operations and Risk Prevention
  2. Workforce Engagement & Safety Culture – Co-created safety programs, staff involvement, behavioral safety, Occupational Health and Safety
  3. Innovation in HSE – Novel tools, technology, processes, or methodologies with practical implementation
  4. Case Studies – Incident investigation results, survey studies, lessons learned with outcomes

 Evaluation Criteria

Posters will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee on:

  • Relevance to HSE Summit themes
  • Clarity of learning objectives
  • Innovation, methodology, and outcomes
  • Practical applicability and impact

Submissions should include a clear description and learning objectives. Anyone reviewing your submission should have a solid understanding of the HSE-related information that will be shared and what learning outcomes will be achieved. Consider why this information is important in advancing workplace safety and how others can apply it in their own settings.

Who is your Target Audience?
Provide a clear understanding of who will benefit most from your session (such as industry type, safety role, or technical level). Indicate whether your session is geared toward beginner, intermediate, or advanced professionals. We are seeking a range of content relevant to various industrial sectors including oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, utilities, and government/regulatory bodies.

What outcomes or impact were realized?
Submissions should include practical stories or case studies that demonstrate measurable improvements in health, safety, or environmental performance. Share the strategies, tools, and lessons learned that contributed to successful outcomes in reducing incidents, enhancing compliance, or fostering a stronger safety culture.

What is the practical story this session shares?
Sessions should engage participants with real-world insights, clear learning objectives, and key takeaways that can be implemented in their organizations.

POINTS TO BE NOTED:

  • Event Organizers will be providing the Easel Stand and inform you about the size/specification of the poster prior to the event to all confirmed presenters.
  • Presenters will be responsible for all displaying materials and handouts.
  • Online/digital assistance is not provided in the poster display area
  • MEHSE is not accountable for any print, material collection or delivery of the poster.
