Dr. Saeed Albukhitan

Saeed Albukhitan is an Automation and Digitalization leader at Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED) and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Information and Computer Science at KFUPM. Since joining HADEED in 1997, he has led process automation for flat rolling plants and currently spearheads the company’s digital transformation. His industry experience includes membership in SABIC’s digital transformation data science team. Dr. Albukhitan earned his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from KFUPM in 2014. He is an active researcher with over 20 publications focusing on machine learning, semantic web, and digital transformation applications. His practical leadership extends to numerous plant initiatives and projects, supported by extensive technical and management training globally
